The objective of the Master of Science in Neuropsychology Programme is to enable the student to become a skilled entry level professional neuropsychologist. The aim of the programme is to provide the students with fundamental knowledge in areas of central nervous system, cognition and socio-emotional development across the stages. Students would not only get the training in the various theoretical aspects but also would get hands on experience through internship. The mandatory dissertation aims at giving them an orientation and kindling their interests in the field of research in psychology. Learning labs designed for the third and fourth semester would provide practical exposure in the application of psychological principles learnt from a theoretical perspective. This is done to enhance their competence in applying the same in a clinical setting to become a competent professional.
The practice of neuropsychology can be done in clinics, hospitals, laboratories, research institutions, rehabilitation settings and various other areas where experiments can be carried out.
